BifidoBacteria - Good Gut Bacteria = Healthy Immune system

Bifido Bacteria - SAY WHAT???

That is the "good" gut  bacteria.  Bifido Bacteria.  Do you want them in your GUT / intestinal track?  ABSOLUTELY.

Here is an analogy:  Do you love a barefoot lawn?  I do...  I love to lay on it, walk barefoot on it, play bocce ball on it, lay on my back on it and look at the stars at night, catch some Vitamin D while laying on it...  And I like to look at it and enjoy the beauty of it.

I describe a barefoot lawn as all one type of grass, no weeds, no annual blue grass, cut and manicured and watered.  It is so soft and fun and beautiful and most of all cared for.

A lawn that is not cared for, becomes dry, and weed filled and is no longer beautiful.

Consider that lawn as your gut, your intestinal track.  When you don't care for it, don't water it, don't tend it, it will become sick and full of bad stuff.  This is where Bifido Bacteria come in...

Bifido Bacteria - when in your gut, will cover the walls of your intestines, not allowing the bad bacteria, ie the weeds, to fill those spots.  Which in turn, will fend off illness and disease.

Here are 7 reasons that Bifidobacteria are vital to your health

1 - Their by product stop the grown of harmful, toxic bacteria in your intestinal track.
2 - They take up the space, or fill the space, like I mentioned in the analogy, that a pathogentic organism could fill.  Bifido Bacteria crowd out these organisms.

3 - They lower blood ammonia levels by slowing the production of those toxins.

4 - They produce Folic Acid and Vitamin B.

5 - They produce digestive enzymes.

6 - This is one I LOVE - They promote immune attack against cancer cells, and stimulate the immune system.

7 - They increase essential minerals magnesium and calcium absorption.  Which help reduce the possibility of high blood pressure and diabetes.  As we age these tend to decline in our body, so helping them increase just by the increase of Bifidobacteria in your gut is a very positive move to your WalkToHealth.me journey.

Increased refine sugars kill bifidobacteria in the gut and feed the parasitical yeast, fungi, and bacteria that contribute to disease.

The question to ask yourself.  Is your lawn (gut) a beautiful, healthy one, working to make you healthy inside and out?  Or is your lawn (gut) a brown, ugly, toxin-producing one, with no way to fight off illness and disease?

Step one in your journey to increasing the health in your gut...  Add Kombucha to your diet.  Watch my 2 part video on how to make your own Kombucha.  It is a great source for a probiotic.

Hair Loss - Vitamin D - Vitamin C - Low Iron

If you’re removing more hair from the drain than usual, you may want to take a closer look at your vitamin D and C intake (low iron = anemia = symptom of low levels of Vitamin C: These may be causing your hair loss.

Researchers at Cairo University found that women who were experiencing hair loss also had lower levels of iron and vitamin D2 — and hair loss only got worse as the levels dropped.
"This is the first time vitamin D’s possible role in hair loss has been highlighted," explains Rania Mounir Abdel Hay, MD, a dermatologist at Cairo University, and co-author of the study. "It might regulate the expression of genes that promote normal hair follicle growth." As for iron: Low levels may inhibit an essential enzyme that has been associated with hair loss in mice.
Consider taking a vitamin D supplement, which has more than just healthy hair benefits: It could prevent heart disease, cancer, and bone fractures.
I sell a high quality Vitamin D that has 2000IU, $20 for a 90 day supply.  If you live in the Pacific Northwest, it is found that vitamin D levels are lower in a major portion of the population so it is even more important to have this important vitamin.  Low level Vitamin D has also been linked to breast cancer.
Vitamin D and hair loss – Bone pain and muscle weakness could be a sign of vitamin D deficiency. Though lacking this essential vitamin is commonly associated with life-threatening conditions such as cardiovascular disease, cognitive impairment in older adults and even cancer.  As mentioned above, researchers at Cairo University have now found a strong link between vitamin D deficiency and hair loss among women. Get your Vitamin D today, (I get out in the sun, but that still doesn’t give me enough).  I take one a day of my 2000IU to stay within the normal range.
Vitamin C – This antioxidant is needed for the growth and repair of many different tissues throughout the body. It forms proteins used to make skin, tendons and blood vessels, it helps heal wounds and form scar tissue. Vitamin C also maintains healthy hair growth because it helps produce red blood cells, which keep hair follicles blood-enriched and vital. A few symptoms of vitamin C deficiency are anemia (iron deficiency), an inability to fight infections, and hair loss.
Contact WalkToHealth.me if you would like to get your supply of Vitamin D.
