Sleep. Simple right? Not so much. We have many things in our life that distract us from getting the proper amount of sleep.
8 Hours a night should be minimal. 8 - 10 optimal. The time you sleep is also important. 10:00p.m. should be the latest you go to bed or close to 10 as you can get.
Taking time in the day to lay flat on the floor and put your feet up on the couch or ottoman for 20 minutes is also a good practice.
Getting the right amount of sleep has been shown to help reduce your weight. Weight gain can be related to too little sleep.
